Bio

My name is Lori Jean Crockett and I was “Born Country”!

From my home in Peachland, BC, I embrace my undeniable love for singing, songwriting and creating music.  I recently had the exciting opportunity to visit Nashville and meet with David Preston – Director of Writer/Publisher Relations at BMI.  During my interview he told me, “Lori Jean, you definitely have a unique sound.  I like your voice - it is refreshing.  You have good songs and that’s important.  You are the full package and you have to keep at it.”

I am nearing the completion of my first album entitled Country Rules, Country Rocks!   I have been working with Jeff Lakey of Little World Studios in Keremeos - who is an amazing talent that sees my vision and can make my songs come alive.  Upon completion   of my album, you will find your invitation to my CD release party in The Capital News and updates can be found on my website www.lorijeancrockett.com

In the meantime, please tune in to Kelowna’s new country station B-103, with Kelly Adams and John Michaels to hear my songs.  I’m also delighted to say that CKOV will be featuring one of my songs entitled “Come On And Love Me” from my new album.

Inspiration:

Since I was a little girl, my wish has always been to be a singer.  My dream is to be on CMT, and I’ve been striving toward that goal my whole life.  I was born with a talent, and I’ve been lucky enough to realize that and pursue it.  I believe if you’re willing to pursue what brings you the most joy, you will undoubtedly have success.  Music has always been my inspiration and guidance.  I create opportunities to network with, listen to, and learn from other artists.  I find a way to open doors and ask all the right questions.

My heartfelt desire keeps driving me toward my goal.
